The One–Eyed King (隻眼の王, Ō no Sekigan) is the preeminent figure of Aogiri Tree — the founder of the organisation — that is shrouded in the darkness of its very existence. Even among the Ghouls, it has started to become a 'fairy tale' with the rumours telling that Eto is their "Leader". Eto has yet to confirm that this is the truth. Though, it has been mentioned that Eto has been talking with a [figure] from her past, this may disprove the rumours. Its also assumed that the One-Eyed King is an important persona in the series Sour Fragrance.

Even in CCG, the One-Eyed King has been labelled to be the same as the One-Eyed Owl. Therefore, while there is a ranking for the latter, there is none confirmed for the former. As well, the Kagune that has been "presumed" disproves the current theories, yet it has not been accepted by the Investigators.

Background

According to Mogi, the One–Eyed King is born from an Investigator as Mother and a hunted Ghoul as father.
